THE SNAP: The New Clickable Tray

Quickly clicked, tightly assembled - the smart cable tray system that speeds up any installation.

Trayco's latest innovation: a smart cable tray system that clicks together in one simple movement. Thanks to its snap-fit design, installation is faster, cleaner and more efficient. Ideal for projects where speed and a clean finish matter.

In this blog, you'll find out what makes THE SNAP so strong, how to take sections apart again when plans change, and what the switch means for your orders.

The benefits of THE SNAP at a glance

Up to 10x faster to install than traditional systems with integrated coupling plates

Traditional cable trays are connected with coupling plates, bolts and nuts. With THE SNAP, you simply click the connection together. No hunting for loose parts, no getting your tools out for every joint. The result: up to 10 times faster to install than traditional systems with integrated coupling plates.

Strong without a single bolt

The strength lies in the patented I-profile. It carries up to 50 kg/m over a 2-metre span. So you combine the speed of a click connection with the load capacity you expect from Trayco.

Safe to use

Sharp edges and cables don't mix. That's why THE SNAP has rolled edges. They protect the cables, but also the installer during installation and during every later intervention on the tray.

CTIC60: fire-resistant according to DIN 4102-12

THE SNAP is fire-resistant according to DIN 4102-12, the standard for functional integrity of electrical cable systems in case of fire. Your installation stays reliable, even in critical conditions.

Built to last

THE SNAP is also available in our Ultra Galva coating (Zn-Al-Mg). UG protects against corrosion longer than hot-dip galvanizing, and does so in a more sustainable way.

A wide range

THE SNAP fits every project:

  • widths from 50 to 600 mm

  • 2 heights: 60 and 110 mm

  • in Pre-Galvanized and Ultra Galva

Curious how fast THE SNAP clicks together?

Watch the video and see how fast THE SNAP is compared to standard cable trays.

On site, plans sometimes change. A route needs to be moved, a section needs to come out. THE SNAP is designed for that. With the 'unclick' tool, you easily take the sections apart. No damage to the material, and the trays can simply be reused.

How it works:

1. Slide the 'unclick' tool between the hooks on each side.

2. Pull the two trays apart by hand.

3. Done.

The switch: quick and simple

We want THE SNAP to be introduced smoothly. That's why we're gradually switching some products to the SNAP version.

Which products are changing?

  • CTLI60 up to and including 200 mm width becomes CTLIC60 (THE SNAP). For larger widths, CTLI60 remains unchanged.

  • All CTI60 versions remain available: both in 0.75 mm thickness (50 to 300 mm wide) and in 1 mm thickness.

What does this mean for you as an installer or distributor?

  • No fixed switchover date. As soon as current stock runs out, you'll automatically receive the SNAP version.

  • Watch the article codes, as they change too. Update them in your system if needed, so your orders keep running smoothly.
